
Conditions of Sale
- The highest bidder, subject to any reserve will be the purchaser.
- In the event of any dispute the auctioneers reserve the right to re-sell the lot or lots in question.
- A buyers premium of 15% + vat is charges on the hammer price of all lots. In addition where an asterisk (*) appears before a lot in the catalogue vat is charges in full on the hammer preice.
- No lots may be cleared until paid for in full; buyers of multiple lots must pay for them all before any lots can be cleared.
- No vehicle can be taken on the highway unless the purchaser has satisfied themselves as to the roadworthiness of the vehicle.
- Any person on the auctioneer’s premises before, during or after the sale shall be there at their own rsk and shall have no claim against the auctioneer in respect of any accident or injury that may occur.
- The auctioneer or anybody in his or her employment has no authority to give any representation or warranty in relation to any lot.
- The purchaser shall have no right against the auctioneer in respect of error, mid-description or defect of any lot.
- The auctioneer accepts no responsibily for any payment made to the vendor if it later transpires that the lot or lots were subjuct to a hire purchase agreement or other third party claims.
- In the event of any buyer failing to pay and clear lot (s) within a reasonable time the auctioneer may re-sell the lot (s) and any negative balance will be charged to the original buyer.
- By making a bid, attending at sale or preview the above potential purchaser acknowledges the above conditions.
- Lot numbers from 1500 are subject to vat on the hammer price as well as buyers premium.
- All electrical items are sold as scrap.
- All lots must be paid for and cleared by 5.00pm on the day of sale.
- All potential buyers must register their name and address prior to bidding - i.d. will be required.
